Please note: #8 has very noticeable marbling. #5 and #6 do not have matching color head caps.

What you will get:

An unfished Sky head with head cap and coa. Magnets that have not be attached.

NOTES ABOUT FINISHING/SANDING:

when sanding/finishing resin casts at home please be sure to remember these important safety measures:

When sanding resin, fine particles are released into the air and if the right protective measures are not taken, the particles can be inhaled and are unhealthy. You can also “wet sand” which involves applying water as you sand so the particles are easier to contain. Just please note that after the dust dries again it will flake off so either disposing or washing of tools/ or storing in bag may help.

What you will need:

Respirator or a small sanding box

Sand paper

gloves

spray bottle with water (optional)

How to get a nice result:

Suggestions: get a range of different sand papers. the most easiest type of sand paper to sand the resin would be thin sanding sponges rather then sanding paper. Although sanding paper will work just fine, the sponges can last longer and are easier to control and reach small areas.

Start with the lowest grit sand paper then work your way up. The lower the number on the sand paper will mean the coarser it will be. You may want to start from around 250-400 on the roughest areas on the head. But be carful not to sand onto anything smooth, as these rougher sand papers can leave noticeable sanding marks that are hard to buff out. Next you’ll want to use 600-800 grit sand paper. Although you can skip this, it would keep the look more uniform and smooth. Then you can finish all the sanded areas with anything from 1000-3000 grit. You may also want to sand the entirety of the face, and if you choose to just make sure to use no less then 2000 grit.
